Attempt to sleep

It was like the last time, Shelia buried her head under her duvet. There can't be wolves here, not in a city Shelia squeezed her eyes shut. Dawn was an hour away and her fitful night left her dreading her day at work. Deep breaths she thought, willing her beating heart to be still. The howls soon faded into the background hum of air-conditioning, murmuring her relief, she sank into the folds of sleep.
